Animal Photography Experience - Knockhatch Adventure Park

The Animal Photography Experience is a fantastic opportunity to photograph the Knockhatch Animals inside their enclosures!

The Knockhatch team will be your guides answering your questions and giving you unprecedented access to the animal enclosures.

A professional photographer will teach you how to use your camera, manually, to capture the perfect image. This is delivered in the Sussex Barn Conference Centre at Knockhatch Adventure Park.

The tutor will review & make suggestions to improve your technique throughout the day. You will improve in your understanding of aperture, composition, light and focus using your devices zoom capabilities.

The animals that you will photograph include Owls, Meerkats, Blue & Gold Macaws, Wallabies, Reptiles and Small Mammals. Some of the animals that you will meet are exclusive to the Animal Photography Experience!

Age Group

There is a minimum age of 18 years to participate in this experience.

A maximum of 6 people will be participating in the day.

10.30am to 3.30pm (including 30 minutes for lunch)

Dates

From March 2022.

The price includes entry into the rest of the Knockhatch Adventure Park for the participants.

Clothing/PPE

Due to close proximity of the animals fully enclosed shoes, long trousers and a full-sleeved top must be worn.

Please note that this experience is able to be adapted for someone using a wheelchair.

Experience Rules

Upon taking part in the experience, you accept the following risks and will adhere to the rules listed below

Arrive at least 15 minutes before the experience is due to start.
If you have booked using a voucher. YOU MUST BRING YOUR VOUCHER WITH YOU. Without the voucher the experience cannot go ahead.
You must wear minimum a long-sleeved top, a pair of trousers and a pair of enclosed shoes.
The experience will go ahead whatever the weather. However, we reserve the right to postpone, cancel, shorten or adapt any experience to continue the smooth running of the Park.
We suggest you bring a change of clothes and shoes with you in case you want to go in any of the play areas after the experience.
The Keepers must be obeyed at all times.
Participants are not allowed to swap with someone else in their party halfway through the experience.
You must not eat or drink in the animal’s enclosures or areas.
Our animals are on a strict diet so please do not bring food in to feed them. If on the experience you get to feed the animals the Keepers will supply the food.
You must wash your hands at the nearest hand washing station after taking part in the experience.
Please bring your own camera.
The staff at Knockhatch Adventure Park reserve the right to refuse admission if they see fit to do so and stop the experience at any time for any reason.

KNOCKHATCH ADVENTURE PARK CANNOT ACCEPT ANY LIABILITY FOR INJURY CAUSED WHILST PARTICIPATING IN THE EXPERIENCE. ANYONE BREAKING THESE RULES MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PARK WITH NO REFUND GIVEN.
