Mortain Place Celebrates Doris' 101st Birthday with a Knockhatch Adventure!

Residents of Mortain Place recently treated their fellow resident, Doris, to an unforgettable 101st birthday celebration at Knockhatch Adventure Park! The lively group kicked things off with a thrilling ride around the go-kart track, bringing out the competitive spirit in everyone.

After their adrenaline rush, they enjoyed refreshing Flavor Burst Mr Whippy ice creams and lollipops in the picnic area, soaking up the sunshine and laughter. The fun continued at the Animal Encounters Barn, where keepers Sophie and Alana introduced them to a fascinating array of creatures. Residents got up close with the impressive Maclay's stick insect, the giant African millipede (perhaps a bit braver!), and some curious mice.

The grand finale of the day was a visit to the newly opened Lemur enclosure. Led by the zoo manager, the group participated in a heartwarming experience – feeding the playful ring-tailed lemurs!
